ITEM 2-1 Exterior Chimney This is an amateur repair to the chimney cap. These bricks looked like leftovers used from the owners masonry business. Note there is no screen on the chimney.

ITEM 2-2 Service Mast This is not what we call an adequate service mast. It is poorly attached to the house. This was a serious safety issue as we stated in our report.

ITEM 2-3 Porch Column We had to put the clipboard and level down for this. Slate is obviously not the best material to support exterior porch columns. This situation would quickly deteriorate as water enters through the cracks.

ITEM 2-4 Auxiliary Panel The panel is so disformed that the cover longer fits on it. The neutral wires are not attached to the bar securely.

ITEM 2-5 Furnace This unit was in need of maintenance.

ITEM 2-6 Water Seepage The picture looks worse than it is. 109 year old stone house with typical water seepage problems of a unit with this age. My client was made aware of the problem and later understood that this type of problem is not unusual in this circumstance.
