Sub Panel
This sub panel had so many improper connections and terminations that we recommended further evaluation by a licensed electrician.

Water Heater
This unit was past it's useful life (1983). The Temperature Pressure relief Valve was not operating making any potential water heater malfunction extremely dangerous. With the gas shut off valve not operating; this is a potentially deadly situation. We recommended replacement of the unit, immediately.

Sink Trap
This picture is of an obsolete S-Trap that was allowing sewer gas back and into the living quarters. Note the evidence of past leakage at the connections and base of the trap.

Step Crack
This picture was taken from an older garage in the Dayton Ohio area. As you can see the "step crack" is excessive. This type of problem is typical with this type and age of building material that is used in unheated buildings.

Column
This support column is excessively notched at the top which is against The International Log Builders Association standards. The result of this costly installation error; all 22 support columns, had excessive cracks down the center of the beams. The beams were now highly susceptible to water and insect infiltration.

Exterior Drainage
The down spout in the picture must have been recently extended. You can tell the damage that many years of neglect had on the foundation of this Dayton home.
